W ramach jednego kosztu zestawu zużywalnego, Magellan System umożliwia wytworzenie zarówno dużej ilości, tj. kilkudziesięciu mililitrów koncentratu komórkowego, przy stężeniu kilkukrotnie przewyższającym wartość bazową lub bardzo małej objętości, przy zagęszczeniu nawet kilkudziesięciokrotnym.
